This piece is in perfect condition which is incredible since it’s dated sometime between 1891-1925 (the blue marking on the bottom is from that timeframe)
They are decorated with moriage, a traditional Japanese decorative technique using raised enamel creates textured patterns.
It’s beautiful! The pictures are wonderful but the vase is absolutely stunning in-person. It’s the first thing we have sold that I wish I could keep.The slender form and artistic decoration give the vase a striking Art Deco influenced style.
