This Buddy L Army Searchlight Repair Unit takes vintage pressed steel military toys beyond the standard transport truck. The olive military body carries specialized rear equipment with upright searchlight components, creating a distinctive silhouette and giving the vehicle considerably more display interest than a basic cargo model. Buddy L's rugged steel construction and military detailing capture the straightforward industrial design of mid century American toys. Specialized military service vehicles are especially fun to display together because each truck served a different imaginary role in the fleet. This one looks ready for nighttime duty.
